About Navahoy

Through our Greek sister company we own one yacht (Animagus – Beneteau Oceanis 373); and we work closely with our agent in Greece which allows us to offer for rental a number of charter yachts to suit any requirement and budget.

As we are a UK company, we can take payment in sterling for the yacht charters, and then the currency risk is ours, not yours! We then effectively also cover the bank transfer fees into euros (since ultimately the charter is in euros in Greece). Most smaller charter companies will require that you pay direct by bank transfer to Greece in euros.

The yachts we have access to all charter from the base in Preveza (airport is PVK – Preveza/Lefkas/Aktion – 10 minutes’ taxi ride from the boats). Preveza itself is a lovely town with a waterfront quay (where the boats are moored) lined with tavernas. All Microgaming supplies are easily obtainable in the town. Fuel is available by bowser on the quay and there is also water on the quay. There is also fuel on the fuel berth at Cleopatra Marina (on the airport/Aktio side) just 5 minutes’ away by boat. Access to the “Inland Sea” and South Ionian Islands is via the Lefkas Canal; the bridge at Lefkas is around an hour away by boat and opens every hour on the hour.

Whilst most charterers will probably head south to the “Inland Sea”, thanks to Preveza’s location, heading north west to Paxos, Antipaxon and (the Northern Ionian Islands) is also very possible; and heading directly east into the beautiful and peaceful Ambracian Gulf is also highly recommended.

Through our agent in Preveza and its contacts, all of our charters benefit from excellent local service, with a comprehensive handover and support throughout the charter period. All the boats have the correct paperwork.

We offer bareboat charters and also skippered charters and training. Being a small, personal operation, overheads are low, allowing us to offer some of the most competitive prices for charters in this beautiful part of the Mediterranean.
